Why should I join?
Where ambition meets community and late-night ideas turn into something bigger.
HRE students are housed in either Lewis or Haggin Halls, both located right in the heart of Central Campus, keeping you close to resources that foster student success.
Imagine, you’re up late, surrounded by other students just as driven as you are. What starts as a study session turns into the next big idea. The next morning, you wake up, head downstairs and enjoy coffee and conversation. It’s here where friendships are formed and connections are built.
That’s the Honors Residential Experience (HRE) at the Lewis Honors College.
"The Honors Residential Experience is an amazing program. You are grouped with like-minded people who all work so hard academically and are incredible socially. I’ve made two friends, who I know are going to be lifelong friends, through HRE and I've connected with so many more." - Lila, first-year student, California
