Room changes for residents wishing to move between halls or within their hall will occur once the Campus Housing Office releases the rooms after the No Show Deadline. However, there MAY be limited rooms available due to the high demand for Campus Housing this year. Residents may submit their request to be added to the online wait list within the housing portal of myUK. Residents must be IN ROOM to view the wait list. The Campus Housing Office administers and approves all room and/or roommate changes. If Residence Life Senior Staff needs to move residents due to any reason, they must work with the Campus Housing Office to ensure assignments and any other items related to assignments are updated.
The Spring Open Room Change Request (process where students request) will go live on Monday, January 22 and end on Friday, February 2 at 11:59 p.m.
The Spring Open Room Change Period (physical moves take place) will be Monday, January 22 through Friday, February 9. After this period ends, Residence Life will work with their direct supervisor and the Campus Housing Office to process any remaining room changes if possible.
We will do our best to accommodate room change requests but Campus Housing cannot guarantee a request can be made as changes depend on space availability.
