Parking and Transportation K-Lot
Once you have unloaded, please move your vehicle to our dedicated parking area, K-lot at Kroger Field. Once you have parked, please make your way to the shuttle pickup area to return to your hall or another part of campus.

Be Ready For Move-In
- Hall Code Cards
- Hall Code Cards have been mailed to your home address. If you do not receive your Hall Code Card before leaving to move in, please follow the steps below.
- Before leaving your place of residency on move-in day, make sure you do the following steps.
- Print your Hall Code Card. Your Hall Code Card is a signage document to be placed either in the upper left-hand corner of your vehicle's windshield or on your review mirror to help traffic personnel direct you to your specific residence hall. Your Hall Code Card can be found below under your assigned residence hall.
- Make sure to fill out the information on your Hall Code Card so that if any issue arises, volunteers and UK staff are able to contact you.
- Before leaving your place of residency on move-in day, make sure you do the following steps.
- Hall Code Cards have been mailed to your home address. If you do not receive your Hall Code Card before leaving to move in, please follow the steps below.
- Maps
- While we will have many volunteers available during move-in, it is important to have a digital or printed copy of your route map. This will provide you with details of what roadways you should take in order to get to your residence hall safely and efficiently. Your route map can be found below under your assigned residence hall.
- You will find a custom QR code for your residence hall inside your move-in packet. This code will take you to the WAZE app. Scan the QR code upon leaving home or when arriving to Lexington/Campus to assist in navigating you through campus, as some roadways may be closed for move-in.
- What to Expect
- Upon arrival to campus, you will notice many UK volunteers and staff are available to help with traffic coordination and unloading. These volunteers are here to make sure your 30-minute window to move in is met and efficient.
